Fraudster allegedly claiming to be Stella Damasus dupes fan of N1.6m on Facebook, actress cautions followers
This is just as a Facebook user, Da Bishop007, accused the actress of N1.6m fraud.
The victim allegedly transacted a deal with the star actress through her Facebook account recently where he paid the said amount and did not get a feedback.
Following the complaints and allegation, Stella
unveiled her real Facebook account, warning her fans to avoid being scammed by internet fraudsters and follow her real account.
She shared a snapshot of her real Facebook account.
She wrote: “@dabishop007: Someone just contacted me again lamenting over being duped by @stelladamasus on Facebook. Guys take note. This is the ONLY AUTHENTIC PAGE by @stelladamasus on #Facebook. It’s a NEW PAGE so don’t get fooled by others.
“DON’T pay money to anyone or transact business with any celebrity via Facebook. No REAL celebrity will be asking you to pay money into an account to see them.
“People be smart, this dude is lamenting to me over a $5,000 scam now.
“Be warned. Stop communicating or talking to ANY OTHER @stelladamasus on Facebook.
“If you fall ‘mugu’ you’re on your own. #iCantShout,”the mother of two added.
