Sunday Oliseh Flown To Belgium For Immediate Medical Treatment

National Team gaffer, Sunday Oliseh, has been flown to Belgium for treatment yesterday due to a deteriorating health condition.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) released the following statement on Oliseh’s condition via social media.

With this development, the Super Eagles would be without coach Oliseh when they travel later today to Burkina Faso for the second leg CHAN qualifier in Ouagadogou.
The NFF said: “Coach Sunday Oliseh has returned to Belgium to continue treatment after being advised by Eagles medics.
“He became dizzy and weak after lunch on Thursday and he travels abroad tonight (yesterday) through the Port Harcourt Airport.”
Oliseh joined his assistants after undergoing treatment in Belgium and was on the bench when the Eagles secured a 2-0 win over  the Etalons of Burkina Faso in Port Harcourt last week, in their first leg African Nations Championship qualifying clash.
It was gathered that  the coach ”was not himself and after being examined by the Eagles’ doctor, he was advised to return to Belgium to complete his treatment.
‘Yes, he’ll not travel with the team to Ouagadogou. He’s off to Belgium on medical grounds,” camp source said last night.
