Mikel Obi:  The Nigerian midfielder won the EPL title with Chelsea for the second  time in his career with ‘The Blues’. The Jos-born midfielder played 18  games in the league for Chelsea after he battled a knee injury that  required surgery.   

 Efe Ambrose:  The defender ended the season with a Scottish League win and League Cup  double with Celtic. The former Kaduna United player featured in 27 games  for his team in the league.   

NosaIgiebor:  He won the double of Israeli League and Cup with Maccabi Tel Aviv. He  played 29 league games and scored three goals. 
 

 Moses Simon:  The Nigeria youngster emerged as Belgian league champions with Gent. The  forward, who is bound for the U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, played 17  games and scored seven goals in his club’s first league conquest in 115  years. He only joined Gent in January from Trencin of Slovakia.   

OdionIghalo:  The Nigeria international failed to win the English Championship crown  with Watford, but his club secured an automatic promotion to feature in  EPL next season. He scored 20 goals in 35 games.
    
Dele Aiyenugba:  The goalkeeper won the Israeli second division league title and helped  the team return to the top flight after they were relegated in the  2013/2014 season. He was the team’s first-choice goalkeeper

ShehuAbdullahi:  The former Nigeria youth international, who won a CHAN bronze medal with  the home-based Super Eagles in 2014, clinched the biggest trophy in  Kuwiat, the Emir’s Cup, with Al Qadsia. The midfielder was an important  part of the campaign as he played from the defensive midfield role and  right back. He scored two goals in the league.   

 Ugo Ukah:  The one-capped Super Eagles defender won an historic Serbia Cup with his  club FK Cucaricki as they beat Partizan Belgrade in the final. The  31-year-old former Parma of Italy defender played 13 league games this  season for his side and played all the cup games.   

 Rabiu Ibrahim:  He is a double champion in Slovakia with Trencin, winning the league and  cup alongside his compatriot Kingsley Madu. Rabiu Ibrahim played 17  games and scored four goals. LeftbackMadu played 14 games with a goal to  his credit in the league.  

  AkarandutOrok:  Former Nigeria league hotshot won a double in Bahrain winning the King’s  Cup and FA Cup with Al Hidd. He scored eight goals in the league, five  in the FA Cup and three in the Asian cup.    

Jerry Mbakogu:  The Nigerian striker won the Serie B title with Carpi where he scored 15  goals in 30 games. He was his club’s top scorer.   

 Sylvester Igboun:  He won the Danish league with Midtjylland alongside three other  Nigerians, namely Rilwan Hassan (17 games, three goals), IzunnaUzochukwu  (21 games) and MusefiuAshiru (unused sub seven times). Isaac Oliseh was  also on the books of the Danish champions. Igboun scored nine goals in  29 games.   

 Umar Aminu:  The former Flying Eagles star won promotion to the Super League with  Osmanlispor after he was forced to dump another Turkish second division  Samsunspor late last year over unpaid wages.     Leon

Balogun:  He won promotion with Darmstadt to the German Bundesliga after they  finished second in the second division. He scored four goals and he will  be rewarded with an improved contract as his initial deal was till the  end of the season.   

 Dele Alli:  The Nigerian-born England youth international helped MK Dons gain  promotion to the English Championship for the first time with his goals  from midfield. He was further rewarded with a switch to EPL outfit  Tottenham Hotspur.
